Turn scattered inputs into structured project work | Timestripe

After every project meeting, the important stuff ends up everywhere. Decisions buried in meeting notes. Requirements lost in chat threads. Open questions sitting in someone's inbox. But you can turn scattered inputs into structured project work.

Ask your agent to analyze meeting notes, chat threads, emails, forms, and files. It extracts decisions, requirements, and open questions, then creates or updates tasks with dates, owners, and source links.

What the agent starts with

Two sources, both already inside Timestripe.

  • Call transcripts on a board called Meeting Notes — a kickoff, a design review, and a content sync. Raw recordings, not summaries: decisions are made mid-argument, one gets reversed later, and several things are left explicitly unowned.
  • Forwarded emails in the Timestripe inbox. Any email can be forwarded straight in, so the things that only ever happened over email arrive alongside everything else — a slipped deadline, a constraint from another department, a supplier's lead time.

The prompt

Copied

Four things are being specified: where to look, what to do, where the result goes, and what not to do.

That last one matters most here. Without it the agent invents an owner for work nobody claimed, and an invented owner is worse than a blank one — it looks decided.

What comes back

The plan appears as text first. Nothing is written to the board until it's approved.

After that, every decision is a task with an owner and a due date, taken from who committed to it and when. Open questions become tasks too, named as the question, with the owner left empty — visible instead of forgotten.

And each task links back to the transcript or email it came from.
