How to set goals

Hey! In this video, I’ll show you how to set goals in Timestripe. Goals are the main tool you’re going to use whilst organizing your life in Timestripe.

This tool isn’t a goal in its strict sense. You can turn your goal into whatever you like, from some minor task to the shopping list or to the thought container.

To set a goal, just click on this button, type in the title of the new goal or paste the set of already existing ones.

If you want to set more goals, just click enter and type in the title of the next goal. If you want to add some comments to your goals, click on the title of the goal. You can stick to plain text. But I think you should try everything that our powerful text editing engine provides. (More on that in our video about goal comments). Let’s keep it simple for now and type something silly here.

By the way, we’re going to open the comments for you immediately by creating a goal with an Alt + Click. If you want to change the name of the goal, use the same shortcut for an already existing goal. Once you’ve achieved your goal, click on the square to mark the goal as completed. Yay!
