When it’s a perfect sync — Timestripe

When it’s a perfect sync

Have you ever looked at your friend or partner and felt that everything you do is in perfect sync? Such a pleasant feeling of unity and integrity, which makes your movements and actions seem even faster and clearer. Just like in the work of Felix Gonzalez-Torres - Untitled (Perfect Lovers).

Untitled (Perfect Lovers) by Felix Gonzalez-Torres

Born in Cuba, Felix emigrated as a teenager, first to Madrid, then to Puerto Rico, before finally moving to New York in 1979, where he studied at the Pratt Institute and then the International Center of Photography. In 1987, he received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Whitney Independent Study Program, a renowned program focused on conceptual art and critical theory.

His work, simple and minimalist, has always been conceived to integrate into reality as simply and easily as possible. Candy installations would disappear by the end of an exhibition, garlands would burn out, and clocks would start to lag or rush after a while.

But in the moment, all this had the same piercing effect as in life, where it is impossible for two beings, objects, people to exist endlessly in unison with each other, perhaps it is not even necessary, that is why these moments of unity and complete synchronization are valuable.

We hope today you will go to your team space in Timestripe, look at all the tasks that are being planned, performed and already completed and feel the same synchronization with your partners as this pair of clocks on the wall.

Or feel free to gift Timestripe to your partner, friend or colleague—stay in sync, plan and achieve goals together.
